We received Yu-Wen's three-month update on July 12. The measurements were taken at about 3.5 months old (she will be 4 months this week). She is now 11 pounds and 22.4 inches. On the Asian growth charts, she is in the 25% percentile for height and 3% for weight, meaning she is shorter than 75% and weight less than 97% of babies in Taiwan. She is on the petite side but is growing consistently, which is what matters. Developmentally, she appears to be doing everything you expect at her age.
Hopefully, we will hear about our court log-in date and when our first hearing is scheduled. Hope for a quick judge for us.
We are sending our second care package tomorrow. For Yu-Wen we have several outfits, including one with a butterfly done in stars and stripes, several rattles and the type of lotion we will use at home. We included postcards of where we live, candy and lotion foster mom. And, of course, candy for the Taiwan agency staff. It should take about a week to get to her.
