Reno to LAX Alaska/Horizon Flight #2447 Leave 7:35 pm Arrive 9:05 pm

LAX to Taipei (TPE) Eva Flight #1 Leave 1:00 am Arrive 6:05 am

October 30

TPE to LAX Eva Flight #12 Leave 6:20 pm and arrive at 3:05 pm (same day)

LAX to Reno Alaska/Horizon Flight #2446 Leave 5:30 Arrive 7:05 pm

We will be staying at the Agora Garden in Taipei

We will either have the hotel pick us up at the airport or have Mr. Yeh, the agency driver, meet us there. We will pay for early arrival on the 20th. We will spend the 20, 21, and 22 sightseeing, either with Mr. Yeh, or possibly a family friend whose family lives in Taiwan. It would be really special to have a local show us around.

We get Anna on the 23rd and have our first AIT appointment on the 24th. Hopefully, we will get her visa and immigration paperwork on the 25th or 26th.

Just in case of delay, and since we are flying 7,000 miles, we will be hanging out in Taiwan until the 30th. We tried to come home a day earlier, but the flights were already booked.

We don't have any concrete plans yet, but we plan on visiting Taipei 101 (the tallest building in the world), museums, and temples in Taipei. Also, the Chinese Opera and acrobatic schools. Of course, shopping at the night markets, and we can't forget Snake Alley. Outside of town is a gondola ride above a falls with a little native cultural area. We also hope to visit some of the world-famous hot springs! Other possibilities include the high-speed train to Southern Taiwan and the coastline.
